OPTION 2 "ESTATE" HUNT

Costs -  for two hunters with one guide  three days US$2,750 per hunter all inclusive or one hunter one guide  three days US$3050 all inclusive - includes a red deer stag of 14 points or more up to 311 SCI score, all meals drinks and accomadation during hunt as well as pick-up and delivery from Wellington and trophy preparation for export, Extra species or larger red deer stag can be added to this hunt for an extra cost , also does not include expediting cost

Option 2 Estate hunts apply to the period from February through August, the period during which red stags are hard-antlered.

The "option 2" hunts are for the hunter looking for a 100% guarantee to take a trophy stag in a size range of his choice. The minimum size stag on Estate hunts is 14 points, and range to over 26 points! (270 SCI to over 400 SCI) These hunts are also well suited for the bow hunter especially if they are hoping for a red deer trophy over 14 points

The Estate is a large area of natural game habitat with steep to hilly terrain. There are lots of gullies with scrub and bush giving cover for the game and ideal stalking conditions for the hunter.the hunting here is still very much a fair chase hunt.          The Estate is ring fenced.

These hunts are a more luxury based, easier option than the free range hunts. Accommodation is normally a self contained 2 bedroom apartment at the homestead within walking distance to the estate block. Meals are prepared by Christine, wine and dine New Zealand style. The estate hunts can also be based from our bush cabin with 4wheel bike access to the hunting .

The Estate Hunt is based right on the Pacific coast, with hunting being mostly early morning and late evening. Extra activities such as inshore fishing and diving, golf, and local sightseeing are therefore available at no additional cost.Ideally situated for both the hunter and non hunter

These trips are ideal for 3 or more hunters per party, but up to 6 hunters can be catered for, with 3 days being the recommended stay. On the "2 hunter - 1 guide" trip, the hunters share one guide on a turn about basis, giving each hunter the opportunity to hunt on their own also. The hunt time can be extended to five days if required for extra species and deep seas fishing trip or if wanting some free-range hunting as well Turkey hunting can easily be added in with this option ect.

For extra days the daily rate is.  For 2 hunters, 1 guide(all inclusive) is US$250,        Or for 1 hunter, 1 guide (all inclusive) is US$350 plus trophy fees.pickup and delivery from wellington is included as is all food, drink and accomadation during hunt as well as trophy preparation for export .

Hunters are picked up from wellington on the morning of the first day  in time for a afternoon hunt  followed by three nights and two full days then dropped back to Wellington on the morning of the fourth day.
